SPARK Art Residency is a new creative program housed in a historic 1903 stone church in Schenectady, New York. The program fosters creative exchange at the intersection of art, nature, and community.

Set within the rich cultural heritage of Schenectady — a city whose history intertwines innovation, industry, and diverse communities — SPARK provides artists with dedicated studio space, accommodation, and the opportunity to engage with the local community through exhibitions, workshops, and public art installations.

The residency welcomes artists working across all media — painting, sculpture, installation, film, performance, and new media — with a particular emphasis on work that engages with nature, public space, and cross-cultural dialogue.
