Visual artist
I am an Indian artist based in New York, I create evocative mixed-media sculptures, installations, paintings, and video. My work delves into the complex interplay of identity, roots, and our human connection to both natural and social environments. Though my formal training began in painting, I’ve embraced a multidisciplinary approach, playfully and humorously exploring thought-provoking questions about politics, society, cultural differences, and identity. With an MFA from Sir J.J. School of Arts and a BFA from Kurukshetra University, my practice spans diverse mediums, from large-scale site-specific installations to intimate sculptures. My goal is to create art that is both visually stunning and intellectually engaging, pushing the boundaries of artistic expression and fostering meaningful connections with my audience.
